A New Spot for Young People!
You will find the staff of the Kuujjuaq Youth Team in the premises of 562. Under the direction of Community Services, Youth Team, is made up of social workers, psychoeducators and psychosocial workers who support youth aged 6 to 17 and their families with the challenges they may encounter.
Services are provided on a voluntary basis, which means that the young client and their family must wish to receive services.
In addition to individual follow-ups, the Youth Team supports local initiatives aimed at the well-being of young people.
Several activities are offered, such as the Hot Spot activity, which offers, once a week, a safe environment for young people aged 12 to 17. On this occasion, young people can meet the team members, have positive fun and enjoy a meal. It takes place every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
