A few quick tips
Plan warm winter clothes from September to April
Nunavik’s cellular network is limited, but service is offered by some companies in Kuujjuaq (Rogers, Fido and Vidéotron)
Some things cost more in Nunavik. You will be briefed on the subject before you move !
Departure day
Transportation to Nunavik is by plane only as there are no roads between Nunavik and the south of the province. Departures from Pierre-Elliot Trudeau airport and Jean Lesage airport are offered
The flight to Kuujjuaq is approximately 2 hours. If your destination is one of the villages, allow up to a few hours more
Upon arrival
- You will be greeted at the airport by a member of your team. Welcome to the North !
