To better serve the population of Kuujjuaq, UTHC is proud to announce the opening of a brand-new service for making appointments with family doctors and dentists for Kuujjuamiut.
Simple and adaptive, the Appointment Center will allow patients to use the communication method of their choice, phone or email, at a time that is convenient for them, to book an appointment.

If the line is busy or if the user contacts the Appointment Center outside of business hours, they will be able to leave a message. A person will return the call or answer the email during the Central office's business hours, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
This new initiative is being put in place to ensure better access to health care in the community of Kuujjuaq, as a first step.
In the coming months, UTHC hopes to make this service available in other Ungava villages so that people can, in turn, make their appointments by phone or email.
